There will be no Children's Worship on Sunday, September 6, due to Labor Day Weekend. Children's Worship will begin its regular schedule on Sunday, September 13. Children from 4 years of age to those entering the third grade are welcome to come. The first three lessons in the teaching literature I use in Children's Worship are based on the 23rd Psalm and the Good Shepherd from John 10. The kids enjoy reenacting the lessons using the wooden figures, rocks and a plastic wolf but I wanted them to have a deeper understanding of the 23rd Psalm. We have had a great year in Children’s Worship! We had stories from both Old and New Testaments, as well as picture book stories that reinforced the Bible story. We also became more aware of the “seasons” of the church and the parament colors.
