Children's Worship

Children's Worship returns for its regular, every-Sunday schedule on Sunday, September 14th. We will continue to meet in our classroom in the basement, leaving the sanctuary at the time indicated in the bulletin.

Our lessons come from a curriculum called Young Children and Worship by Sonja M. Stewart and Jerome W. Berryman. The teaching supplies were lovingly made and organized by parents and committee workers at Rock Spring Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, and were brought here by Pastor Chas. We are starting with lessons on "The Good Shepherd" and Psalms 23 in September. I'm also planning on presenting Old Testament lessons on creation, Abram and Sarai, Noah and Jacob. These lessons will take us to Advent.

Our group has added more kids and I am very excited about getting to know them. I am a little apprehensive about having possibly as many as eleven kids, but that is a wonderful possibility to have!
