Let's Take a Summer Musical Journey!
Seasons change things just a bit, and as we get ever nearer to the start of the busy summer months, a few changes are happening in the music program too. Starting in June, the choir will take the summer months off--in some respects, but that doesn't mean the music disappears. As is customary, each Sunday will be loaded with music, but with some differences here and there. We will take our usual places in the choir loft on the first Sunday of each month for Communion Sunday. B

Scammers Again Spoofing Chas
Hello, friends, Last September, some scammers were spoofing my email address. You can read details here: https://www.fpcpvok.com/post/scammers-spoofing-chas. A similar attack is currently happening. There is nothing to panic about. This is not me. My email account has not been hacked. The scammers simply registered a new email account that is similar, but subtly different from mine. The scammers' email, in one instance, had an 'L' after my name (chasgowingL) and before

The Ministerial Alliance Youth Fund sponsors college scholarships every May. The students must apply through the high school counselor, and the applications are reviewed by a pastoral committee which also decides who will receive them. The number of scholarships and the amount of them is determined by the amount of money in the fund at the time. Here at First Presbyterian Church, we collected an offering to support the M.A.Y. fund on Sunday, April 26. If you would like to s
