Choir Returns to Inspire

Summer break was good, but the choir members move back into full service mode starting the week after Labor Day. Ronnie and Peggy got on Route 66 and saw many memorable sights of Americana as part of the 100th anniversary of the "Mother Road." RexAnn took in some sports performances of her grandkids. Mary and Steve shared their talents by presenting a musical on the high school's stage.

If you're interested in getting in on the music of our church, please join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30am in the choir room. Don't worry about not knowing the songs at first. That will come by simply singing with the "regulars."

Another way to experience choir is to come to our weekly rehearsals -- held on Wednesdays at 5:30pm in the choir room. The first post-summer rehearsal is Wednesday, September 9.

If the Spirit is really moving you, attend the choir retreat, happening Saturday, September 12, at 10:00am at the church (note this is a change from our last pulpit announcement). Steve will walk us through several songs to augment our worship together, our communion services and even the Advent season.
