What does it mean to be a member of a Presbyterian Church? We are offering a short class on Presbyterian discipleship starting Wednesday, April 22, at 5:30pm. The class will meet Wednesdays for six weeks.
The topics of the class are organized around the questions we answer when we join the church, and ends with a special class about Presbyterian views of the sacraments: baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Week 1, Wednesday April 22 at 5:30pm: Grace
Week 2, Wednesday April 29 at 5:30pm: Sin
Week 3, Wednesday May 6 at 5:30pm: Who is our Lord and Savior?
Week 4, Wednesday May 13 at 5:30pm: Study and Worship
Week 5, Wednesday May 20 at 5:30pm: Fellowship and Mission
Week 6, Wednesday May 27 at 5:30pm: Baptism and Communion
The class is particularly good for someone who is curious about joining our congregation, whether previously baptized or not, but is open to any who want a refresher on the basics of being a Presbyterian.
