Deacons Offering

This congregation collects an offering specifically for the Deacons every time there is a fifth Sunday in the month. This Sunday, September 29 is a fifth Sunday, and we will be collecting that offering for the Deacons. This fund serves as a discretionary fund for the Deacons to use to fulfill their calling to compassion and service. When people in our congregation and community are struck with adversity, the Deacons can use this fund to help. With the church members' support, the Deacons have met their goal to purchase an AED for the church. They also regularly serve this congregation and the community with such projects as the Ministerial Alliance Halloween Trunk-or-Treat, City Easter Egg hunt, and occasional support for their other benevolence funds.
