Huntley Brown—Your New Friend

There are people you meet in life who make you feel like they are your best friend. The late Queen Elizabeth II was one of those people. I saw her only once through the window of her Rolls Royce, but her eyes focused on mine and I felt like I had a new friend.

Huntley Brown is one of these people. I met Huntley about 1990 in Lawton, Oklahoma. His brother was graduating from Cameron University with a degree in piano. I invited Huntley to come to his brother’s graduation and to play for a party in Lenworth’s honor. Huntley not only mesmerized those in attendance, his love of people and the Lord was captivating. He personally met everyone at the event and immediately you sensed his love for people. He became your friend. Since that time, he has shared his music with most churches that I have served. When he arrives, you will find him a kind and gentle person with a dramatic calling to the ministry of our Lord.

Come meet my friend Huntley at his concert on Sunday, October 9 at 4:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church, Pauls Valley. Acquire your tickets in advance at the Chamber of Commerce for $20, or get your ticket at the door for a requested donation of $20.

You will see why Huntley Brown has a very successful international career as a gospel pianist and you will have a new friend.
