Thank You Worship Volunteers!

Many hands have been involved in all our Holy Week worship services. Our normal worship committee volunteers always pull together excellent worship experiences by producing the bulletin, running the sound, lighting, and Facebook livestream technologies, turning on and setting up the sanctuary, lighting candles, singing and playing instruments, greeting people and handing out bulletins, and regularly preparing and serving communion. Holy Week has been extra work all around, with the Palm Sunday processional and dizzy worship order, the Good Friday service, and special parts of the Easter service. The choir and musical soloists have been a part of every one of these services. In addition, we have supported our community worship services at First Christian Church of Pauls Valley and the First United Methodist Church of Pauls Valley.
Of all this extra (and extra good) work, Good Friday needs more mention. We had pastors, readers, and sanctuary guild attendants from each of the three churches hosting this community Good Friday service. We not only had someone running the lights, but also volunteers who put in hours ahead to do lighting design. At the risk of leaving someone out, thanks for the Good Friday service goes to:
First Christian Church: Pastor Elaine Howsley; Liturgist, Judy Powell; Sanctuary Guild, D. J. Patton. First United Methodist Church: Rev. Dr. Jaiseong Pi; Liturgist, Kim Jackson; Sanctuary Guild, Mickie Grimmett. First Presbyterian Church: Liturgist, Robert T. Rennie, III; Sanctuary Guild, Randy Bracey, Luke Bracey; Stage Managers, Kristi Drennan, Erin Babcock; Soloists: Vicki Rennie, Soprano, Mary Gowing, Mezzo-soprano, Steve Freeman, Baritone, Choir Director and Organist, Steve Kennedy; Choir: Vicki Rennie, Holley Sanders, RexAnn Patton, Peggy Patton, Ronnie Patton, Mary Gowing, Steve Freeman; Lighting Design, Zac and Amber Brumley; Light and Sound Controls, Stephen Babcock, Bennett Babcock. Ronnie Patton built the cross. Strong Man: Jess Patton.
Finally, thanks to all who gathered together as worshipers in and as this community to bring glory to God.
