Scammers Again Spoofing Chas

Hello, friends,
Last September, some scammers were spoofing my email address. You can read details here: https://www.fpcpvok.com/post/scammers-spoofing-chas.
A similar attack is currently happening. There is nothing to panic about. This is not me. My email account has not been hacked. The scammers simply registered a new email account that is similar, but subtly different from mine. The scammers' email, in one instance, had an 'L' after my name (chasgowingL) and before the @gmail.com part. The bottom of the email has a scripture quote from our publicly available website, and "Join us this Sunday! 11:00 am."
The body of the message reads "I hope you’re doing well. I’d appreciate your help with a discreet matter. Please let me know if you’re available to correspond by email." The scam is that they are pretending to be me so that you trust them. The best thing to do is report it as spam using your email application, and then simply delete it. If you engage with an email correspondence with them, they will likely end up asking you for something like gift cards. They may tell you (in the guise of my person) that I need gift cards for some private reason, which I won't bother to speculate on. It isn't me. I'm not in dire straights. I won't ever ask you for money, especially not in the form of gift cards. I don't have anything to do with any cryptocurrencies.
I am sorry we have to go through this again. It will likely recur in the future. If you ever suspect there's someone pretending to be me, please let me know and contact me by phone or at my real email address or through the church office.
Thank you, and
Blessings,
Chas
